Pre Algebra Ch 9 Nets
The Bases for any 3-D Prism can be identified as the pair of opposite faces that are exactly the same size and shape (called "congruent" faces).
- Net 1: Cube (think of standard six-sided dice).
- Net 2: Rectangular Base Prism (like a shoebox).
- Net 3: Triangular Base Prism - equilateral base (like a wedge of cheese).
- Net 4: Triangular Base Prism - right triangle base (like a ramp).
- Net 5: Square Base Pyramid (all faces are triangles with all faces having congruent areas).
- Net 6: Rectangular Base Pyramid (all faces are triangles with opposite faces having congruent areas).
