    -SEMESTER PORTFOLIO-

At the conclusion of study this semester, a MANDATORY collection of student work will be resubmitted.
A suggested study and organizational technique is that at the conclusion of  every unit, students
    staple all required
unit work to the unit standards, resulting in a final exam study guide,
as well as a complete portfolio
entry.  Though reassessed on the final exam, unit maps will NOT be
part of this portfolio. However, it is
suggested that students save course maps as a reference for
future social science classes. United Nations’
Regional Briefs, for each unit of study, will be kept
    on file
in the classroom- ALWAYS available for review and study upon request.

BUT NEW AND/OR ALTERNATE ACTIVITIES MAY BE ADDED, AS APPROPRIATE,
THEREFORE STUDENTS ARE URGED NOT TO THROW ANYTHING AWAY...

    -ACADEMIC PROGRESS-

While course grades are updated periodically, usually at the end of every unit of study,
students are also encouraged to be responsible and keep track of their own performance in the
course, as well.  Grades are posted online via 'Q.'  Students are provided the
    method and means
of calculating their earned course grade at any time; there should be no "surprises"...
