Universal School Meals in 2021-22
Our cafeterias are offering school meals at no cost to ALL OPUSD students in the 2021-22 school year. Any student enrolled at an OPUSD school is eligible to receive up to one breakfast meal and up to one lunch meal for free from the cafeteria each school day.
A student does not need to qualify for free or reduced-price meals to take part in these meals, and a meal application is not required.
Our dedicated staff works diligently to plan and prepare meals for every student who wishes to enjoy breakfast and/or lunch from our cafeterias. To help ensure that we prepare a meal for every child who needs one, we are asking families to pre-order school meals in advance. Please note that our menus are always subject to change without notice.
Breakfast is served during the scheduled morning break/recess (Nutrition) while lunch is served during the scheduled lunch period. DK and OVHS students only have a scheduled Nutrition break and may choose to order breakfast. Please refer to the bell schedule at your child's school.
Please note that we will not be providing lunch on early dismissal days.
To pre-order school meals for your child, please visit:
Please refer to our Important Sign-Up Instructions document as you will need a password from there if you are registering for the first time!
If you have not pre-ordered a meal for your child, we strongly urge that you send them with a meal to school. Alternatively, please do not pre-order meals for your child if your child will not eat the food from the cafeteria.
Prepackaged snacks and drinks will be available for purchase at our snack bars at MCMS and OPHS. Funds must be available in your student's meal account at the time of purchase. Snack purchases will not be allowed if there are insufficient funds in a student’s meal account. We will not be accepting any payments at the register. To check your child’s existing cafeteria fund balance or to add more funds to their account, log onto Q-Parent Connect now. Please note that snack bar purchases are optional and not part of the free meals program.
