Ms. Bojorquez has been a member of public education for 22 years, as an Art Educator. She is currently teaching at Oak Park High School, in Oak Park, CA.
A native of Los Angeles, she grew up in South Gate, CA and received her B.A. in Art Education and Single Subject Clear Credential from California State University Long Beach.
Ms. Bojorquez taught visual arts for Santa Monica-Malibu USD for 12 years.
Living in Simi Valley, Ms. Bojorquez enjoys working with children, and is especially inspired by the OPHS students' creativity and energy. She loves to draw and paint and encourages her students to create what is passionate to them, "draw or paint from who you are or what is important to you."
Ms. Bojorquez received her CA Credential for English Language Learners and currently teaches drawing and painting at the beginning and advanced levels and has had her AP Studio Art College Board syllabus "authorized" for the Oak Park High School AP Studio Art program.
Ms. Bojorquez is the advisor for the Peer Counseling Program at Oak Park High School and the Grossman Burn Foundation and is involved with the Triunfo YMCA as a Board Manager, fostering community involvement for all audiences!
