Class Guidelines For Students~English I:

1.) BE PREPARED FOR CLASS

Be in your seats when the bell rings, prepared with your homework, the appropriate literature book, Writers Inc., supplies, and an outside reading book.

2.) MAINTAIN MUTUAL RESPECT FOR OTHERS AND THEIR BELONGINGS

All must foster and maintain respect for their classmates and the teacher.

3.) ASSIGNMENTS MUST BE TURNED IN ON TIME

Only homework that is turned in on time will receive credit.  No homework will be accepted late. Major papers and projects will only be accepted on the due date . . . No exceptions!  If you are absent it is your responsibility to get the paper or project to the teacher by the time the first bell rings the period it is due, or it will be considered late for zero credit.  Upon completion, a paper will only receive credit when a www.turnitin.com Originality Report is attached.

4.) MAKE-UP WORK WILL ONLY BE ACCEPTED FOR EXCUSED ABSENCES

It is your responsibility to request make-up work. You will not be allowed to make up work and/or tests for an unexcused absence or truancy.

5.) CLASSES WILL ADHERE TO THE OAK PARK TIMETRACKER GUIDELINES

You must adhere to all guidelines outlined in the Oak Park High School Timetracker dealing with attendance, tardies, dress code, academic honesty, etc.
