    COMMUNITY RECYCLING EVENT
    Oak Park High School, 899 North Kanan Road, Oak Park, CA 91377 

    OPUSD’s Environmental Education and Awareness Committee (EEAC) in partnership with the County of Ventura, is hosting a Recycling Drive! Help keep our community clean and toxic items out of the landfill. Come to the Oak Park High School parking lot on April 2, 2022, between 9 a.m. and 1 p.m. Enter the event from Kanan Road (main entrance) or from the cul de sac off Oak Hills Drive / Calle Rio Vista.

    RECYCLING DRIVE from 9 am – 1 pm (OPHS parking lot)* 
    Recycle all of the following in one location:

    What will be collected by the County?

    • Electronic Waste
      • Including light bulbs and household batteries
      • No refrigerators or microwaves
    • Yard Waste
    • Metal
    • Concrete
    • Tile
    • Wood and Fencing
    • Cardboard
    • Trash
    • Mattresses
    • Unusable toys and baby items, including car seats
    • Clothing

    What will be collected by OPUSD?

    • Paper Shredding (The first two banker size boxes are free! $5/box thereafter. You must bring exact change (if paying cash) or a check made out to OPUSD
      Bicycles
    • Eyeglasses
    • VHS/CD/DVDs
    • Sorry—OPUSD cannot accept medicines this year
