    A MESSAGE FROM THE SCHOOL DISTRICT:

    THANK YOU to everyone who donated to the SOIL coin drive for Haiti during Earth Week.  We raised $2,100, which will help provide residents with a community toilet for six months. This special toilet provides privacy and dignity while also using eco-sanitation techniques that turns human waste into rich fertilizer that is used to enhance topsoil and crops in this nation where the soil has been so badly depleted. http://www.oursoil.org 

    The lucky winners who raised the most funds and earned a rainforest animal assembly for their classrooms at each elementary school are:
