Join us at Coastal Cleanup Day on Saturday, September 15th, 2018
Coastal Cleanup Day is the world’s largest volunteer day to protect our environment. Please join other OPUSD families as we clean up Medea Creek (the creek, not the school) and join thousands of others that day to protect the ocean! Sadly, any litter in the creek eventually makes its way to the ocean. To stop this and protect our oceans, OPUSD's Environmental Education and Awareness Committee (EEAC) is partnering with Heal the Bay as a designated clean up site for Coastal Cleanup Day. We will also be removing invasive plant species from Medea Creek.
Register here. Safety waivers must be signed by everyone and will be emailed to you after you register toward the end of August (bringing your signed waiver with you will help make registration more efficient). Those 12 and under must be accompanied by an adult. Those 13-18 unaccompanied by an adult must bring a safety waiver signed by an adult with them to the event.
