TRIENNIAL ASSESSMENT
  •
Local educational agencies (LEA) that participate in the National School Lunch Program and the School Breakfast Program are required by federal law to establish a Local School Wellness Policy (Wellness Policy). The Wellness Policy is a written document that guides a school district's efforts to create supportive school nutrition and physical activity environments. The USDA requires that LEAs must conduct a comprehensive assessment of the Wellness Policy a minimum of once every three years. This Triennial Assessment is a self-assessment and planning guide that can enable schools to identify strengths and weaknesses of health and safety policies and programs.
OPUSD conducted its most recent Triennial Assessment in June 2021. Please click on the following links to see the results.
