• Free and Reduced-Price Meals
    We begin accepting applications for Free and Reduced-Price (F/RP) Meals on July 1st for each upcoming school year. 
    Eligibility is determined each school year. You must submit a new application with current information in order to be considered for free or reduced-price meals. Prior year eligibility does not guarantee eligibility for the new school yearPlease submit only ONE application per household. 
    We highly recommend the online application for faster processing. If you choose to submit a paper application, please complete all relevant sections and deliver in person or send by mail to:

    Families will receive notification of their eligibility by mail and/or e-mail. Please ensure that your mailing address and e-mail are up-to-date on your application and with your child's school.

    Assembly Bill 402
    Many students are eligible for the CalFresh program but are not currently receiving benefits. Assembly Bill 402 (AB 402) is intended to increase the participation of F/RP-eligible student households in the CalFresh program. AB 402 allows school districts participating in the National School Lunch Program, under specific conditions, to share F/RP meal application information from eligible student households with local CalFresh offices to determine CalFresh eligibility.
    Oak Park Unified School District has entered into a Memorandum of Understanding with the County of Ventura Human Services Agency to allow us to confidentially share F/RP meal application information with parent or guardian consent. Please be assured that the information will only be shared with the CalFresh agency and only for purposes directly related to the enrollment of your family into the CalFresh program. Your child(ren)'s eligibility for the Free & Reduced-Price program will not be affected if you choose to decline consent. To provide consent, please complete the Optional section(s) on the second page of one of the following applications:
