7th and 8th grade Chess Club is one of the many clubs students can participate in at Medea Creek. The focus of chess club is to have fun and play chess. We discuss strategies, moves, play games, listen to music, and meet new friends.

We host a school tournament which provides students the opportunity to play for the title of "Chess Master" of the school as well as fantastic prizes and bragging rights.

The 7th and 8th grade Chess Club is open to boys and girls of all levels. We meet every Thursday at 5th period lunch in Mr. Winsick's room, that's R-2. So come by and check it out.
