Both schools were again named California Distinguished Schools and Oak Park High School also received a special recognition in the area of Physical Education and Nutrition.
The U.S. Department of Education named Oak Park USD one of 14 school districts in the nation to receive the U.S. Green Ribbon Schools recognition. The district was recognized as a stand-out in the area of environmental education and practice. Read more.....

Toni Caruso was awarded the Partners in Education (PIE) Award at the Board of Education Meeting on January 15, 20121 for her extraordinatry level of service and dedication to the schools.
The California School Boards Association has named Oak Park Unified School District the winner of a 2012 Golden Bell Award for our Chinese Language and Culture Program.
