• Students Who Currently Have An Inter-District Permit

An Inter-District Paper Permit is available from January 1st until the first day of school of any given year. You will need to submit the permit to your resident district office. Once we receive the signed permit, it will be approved/denied based on credits, behavior, and whether there is space available in the grade level you are requesting.

    Inter-District Permits That Expire

Students who have permits that expire before the student's senior year of high school mush renew their permit prior to expiration. Oak Park USD cannot guarantee that a student who was attending our schools on a permit which expires will be able to continue attending with a new permit. If there are no spaces available in the grade level the student is requesting we cannot accept the new permit. If this happens we highly suggest you apply for the District of Choice lottery, which will grant a student a status that provides guaranteed enrollment through graduation.

For more information about the District of Choice program, and how to apply please visit Oak Park USD's District of Choice Information Center.
