Hello, parents and students, also known as my "extended family." This year, I will fill you up with writing, rich literature, movie making, music, photography, and much more!  R1 students are my family, my children...my super stars.

"While we try to teach our children all about life, our children teach us what life is all about."
Office Hours: Mondays and Thursdays at 8:00 and at lunch (starting at 12:25).  This is for homework help, AR tests, etc.  Appointments may be made should these times not be possible.
At this time, I'm unavailable after school because I'm working part time.

Welcome students and parents to another fabulous year! 7th Grade is jam-packed with awesome explorations through history and literature, in which we emphasize a true humanities approach and authentic learning. The seventh-grade department works as a highly cooperative, collaborative team to help ensure a positive learning experience for all.

  • Mrs. Stein's Students and Parents: Follow Mrs. Stein's classroom on Instagram: MRSSTEINCLASS                                 **NOTE:  Mrs. Stein will not follow you!  This is for classroom purposes only.
  • Visit my Edmodo page.  This is brand new (as of February 24), so it's a work in progress.  Weekly schedules are now updated on Edmodo daily.

  • Students:  Please utilize all resources before emailing your teacher: check your weekly schedule, call/email peers, check all materials in your backpack.  You must take responsibility for yourself, rather than rely on your teacher for instant answers.  I will not answer questions such as "What's the homework?"  or "Why does Zangle (also known as Q)say I am missing something?"  Zangle (Q) issues can be discussed in class the next day with the computer in front of us.
