October was a month filled with learning and fun! We finished reading our first Theme in our reading book and also read, Muggie Maggie, by Beverly Cleary. The students are learning to write in cursive! We have almost learned all the lower case letters. We have been working on writing too! The students wrote incredible stories from the point of view of a pumpkin. We also worked on writing friendly letters. The kids made incredible cards giving advice to the character, Maggie.
In health we have celebrated Red Ribbon Week. We are learning about making good choices. We also are learning about the human skeleton and how our muscles work. October has been a learning filled month. Whew!!
