Kent Cromwell - Principal
Kent was born and raised in the San Fernando Valley (Woodland Hills). He attended Hale Junior High School and El Camino Real High School. While in high school, he ran track and cross-country. His favorite event was the pole vault. After high school, he attended Sonoma State University and was awarded a degree in Kinesiology. He then attended Chapman University and was awarded a Master of Arts in teaching.
After graduation from Sonoma State University, he chose to remain in Sonoma County to begin his career. Kent served five years working as the Principal of Laguna Continuation High School in Sonoma County. Prior to that, he served two years working as an elementary school Principal, four years as a middle school Principal and one year as Dean of Students of a high school overseeing all alternative education programs.
His intentions were always to return to Southern California. At this point, he realized that goal and relocated back to the San Fernando Valley.
In his spare time, Kent likes to be outdoors. He enjoys hiking, surfing, mountain biking, off-roading, skiing and pretty much anything that gets him moving. He also likes to travel. He is always looking for new and exciting things to do and places to go, so if you have any ideas, let him know!

Jeremy Rogers - Counselor
Jeremy is now splitting his work between Oak View High School and Oak Park Independent School. Having grown up in Camarillo and attending both Ventura Community College and UCSB he is familiar with local schools and communities. He has been in public education for over ten years and held the following job titles: Independent and Continuation High School Counselor, Comprehensive High School Counselor, "At Risk" Middle School Counselor, Elementary School Counselor, PE Teacher, Substitute Teacher, and Coach. He graduated from UCSB with a degree in Sociology and a minor in Sports Management. He went on to receive a Masters in Education. "I feel like it is a privilege to work in public education and it is my goal to help students reach their potential” states Mr. Rogers.
Jeremy lives in Camarillo with his wife and three daughters. He enjoys spending time with his family, good food, Notre Dame football, and beating Mr. McGugan's team during Thursday sports day at OVHS.

Jennifer Burstein - Office Manager
Jennifer is a native Californian who has worked in the Oak Park Unified School District for over 8 years. Both of her children attended Oak Park schools and she has been involved in many aspects of the school district, first as a volunteer and now as an employee. Jennifer lives in Oak Park with her husband and two kids. She enjoys spending time with her family and watching her kids do what they love.
