Career Technical Education (formerly known as ROP)

  • ROP ROP is a public education service that provides hands-on career preparation. ROP is designed to provide students with the technical skills required for particular jobs. Community-based internships in local businesses and industry sites are offered in many classes. Every course offers a unit on employment seeking skills, which includes the job application, resume, and interview preparation. Students who are 16 years old may take ROP classes @ Oak Park High School. They may also take ROP classes through either the Ventura County ROP program at the Camarillo Airport, or the Las Virgenes School District program at Agoura & Calabasas High Schools so long as the same classes aren't also being offered at OPHS.
