For 
Incoming OPHS Freshmen
(Class of 2017)
  • Mrs. Svoboda, the OPHS Freshman counselor, visited MCMS on March 21st and 22nd to speak with 8th grade students about transitioning to the high school. She distributed the resource materials (below) to MCMS students during the orientation. 
  • The window for Incoming freshmen to submit their requests in Naviance was March 23rd @ 4pm, and closes on March 28th @ 10pm. 
  • Mrs. Svoboda will be returning to MCMS April 9th – 12th to review course selections with each student.  Students must bring their completed Course Selection worksheet with them to their one-on-one meeting with Mrs. Svoboda. 
  • Please see refer to the Course Catalog for more information regarding class descriptions or the Course Catalog in Naviance. 
  • Pick courses as if you are NOT attending summer school. 
  • Math level will be determined by the MCMS Math Department.
