6th Grade        7th Grade       8th Grade

Read 180 is an intervention-level Language Arts class that reinforces reading,
writing, and comprehension skills through various units and activities.
Read 180 students work seamlessly with general ed humanities classes
to incorporate reading and writing and history curriculum.

The 7/8 Elective Mass Media is another opportunity for students to experience
the world and community, this time through the lens of journalism and news media.
The class will focus on writing, investigative research, people skills in interviewing,
newspaper design and production, and video magazine filming and editing.

7th grade is jam-packed with awesome explorations through history and
literature in which we emphasize a true Humanities approach to authentic learning.
The 7th grade department works as a highly cooperative, collaborative team to help
ensure a positive learning experience for all!
