Driving Directions Home
Please be advised that the directions provided on this web site are the most current available.  However, the locations of away athletic contests are subject to change and parents should contact the school if there is a question as to where an athletic event will be taking place.  In most instances our athletic schedules will reflect the accurate location of the event.  Please note that in some sports the teams will not compete on the campus of the school we are playing.  This is especially true with sports like tennis and softball.  They are often played at nearby parks or recreation facilities.
 
All home athletic contests for Oak Park High School are held at the high school located at 899 North Kanan Road, Oak Park, CA 91377 except where noted below.
  • From Los Angeles County are as follows: Take the 101 Freeway north (traveling west) to the Kanan Road Exit.  Exit Kanan Road and turn right.  Proceed down Kanan Road about two miles into the community of Oak Park.  After passing Conifer Street and Smoketree Street, Kanan Road begins to turn to the west.   Oak Park High School is on the left side.  Proceed to a signal at Doubletree and make a left turn into the student parking lot.  The gymnasium and football stadium are straight ahead as you enter the student parking lot.
  • All levels of girls and boys basketball teams play in the gymnasium on the campus of Oak Park High School.  The gym is accessed through the student parking lot on the north side of our campus.
  • Frosh/Soph Basketball games (for boys only) begin at 4:00, Junior varsity for boys and girls begins at 5:30 and varsity games begin at 7:00.

 
Directions to Oak Park High School Directions to Oak Park High School from Ventura County are as follows:  Take the 101 Freeway south (traveling east) to the Lindero Canyon Road Exit.  Exit at Lindero Canyon and make a left turn.  Proceed down Lindero Canyon about three miles into the community of Oak Park.  At Kanan Road make a right turn and travel about 1 1/2 miles.  After coming down a hill you will see one of the high school athletic fields to the right.  Stay on Kanan Road and proceed to Doubletree (a signal) and turn right to enter the student parking lot.  
 
All home football games - All levels (Frosh/Soph, JV and Varsity) are played at Eagle Stadium on the campus of Oak Park High School.  For all visitors, the stadium is accessed through the student parking lot as detailed in the directions above.  The stadium is situated on a lower field below the south side of the gymnasium.  Junior varsity games begin at 4:00 and varsity games begin at 7:30.  Frosh/soph games are normally played on Thursdays beginning at 4:00.
 
All home volleyball games - All levels (Frosh/Soph, JV and Varsity) are played in the OPHS gymnasium on the campus of Oak Park High School.  For all visitors, the gym is accessed through the student parking lot as detailed in the directions above.  Frosh/Soph games begin at 4:00, junior varsity games begin at approximately 5:30 and varsity games begin at approximately 7:00.
 
All home cross-county meets - All home cross-country meets are held at Oak Canyon Park off Kanan Road near Oak Park High School.  The Park is at the northwest corner of Kanan Road and Oak Hills Drive.  Spectators for all meets at Oak Canyon Park must park on the streets outside of the entrance to the park and walk in to view the cross-country meets.  Home cross-country meets begin at 3:00.
 
Girls and boys tennis matches - All home tennis matches are held on the six tennis courts found on the west end of the Oak Park High School campus.  These courts can be accessed by all visitors by entering the student parking lot and proceeding to the west end of the lot. 
Seating for matches is not available and spectators are encouraged to bring their own folding chairs. Home tennis matches begin at 3:00.
 
Girls and boys basketball games -Girls and boys soccer matches - All home soccer matches are played in Eagle Stadium on the campus of Oak Park High School.  The stadium is accessed through the student parking lot as detailed above.  The stadium is situated on a lower field below the south side of the gymnasium. 
Junior varsity games begin at 3:30 and varsity games begin at 5:00.
 
Baseball games - All home baseball games are played on the Oak Park High School campus baseball fields.  The Varsity field is situated on the far west portion of the campus and can be accessed through the student parking lot or from Oak Hills Drive that runs along the western border of the high school campus.  Junior Varsity games are played on a lower field that sits below the football stadium.  Access is through the stadium or the cul de sac off of Oak Hills Drive.  Home games begin at 3:30 for both varsity and junior varsity.
 
Track meets - All home track meets are held in Eagle Stadium located below the gymnasium and on the south side of campus.  Most home meets begin at 3:00.
 
Softball games - Home varsity softball games are played at Valley View Park approximately one mile from Oak Park High School.  The field is located at the corner of Los Arcos and Kanan Road behind Oak Hills Elementary School.  Our junior varsity team plays on the campus of Oak Park High School at a field located on the far west portion of the campus next to the varsity baseball field.  Visitors may park in either the student parking lot or along Oak Hills Drive which borders the west portion of our campus.  Home games begin at 3:30 for both varsity and junior varsity.

Boys lacrosse games - Home games are usually played in Eagle Stadium on the campus of Oak Park High School.  The stadium is accessed through the student parking lot as detailed above.  The stadium is situated on a lower field below the south side of the gymnasium.  Some home games may be played at Medea Creek Middle School.  The school is across the street from the High School off of Doubletree Road.  Turn right on Hollytree Drive, the field is located up the stairs on your left.
