Susan Allen: OVHS Teacher
In her tenth year at Oak View, Ms. Allen teaches all English classes as
well as Consumer Math, Careers, Computers, Yearbook, Stained Glass,
and our new online courses. "I love working here because there are so
many opportunities for growth and creativity -- for staff as well
as students."
Ms. Allen worked as a waitress for seven years to put herself through
school at The Evergreen State College where she earned her BA
in English and History and her teaching credential. She taught
in Washington and Paramount USD in California before taking some
time to raise her girls --Rosie and Sarah. “Every year here is exciting.
The best people -- staff, students, and parents -- come through Oak View.
Everyone leaves an impression.
