Welcome to Red Oak Elementary School, a California Distinguished School!
The goal of our school is to provide each student with a challenging and rigorous curriculum based on California State Academic Standards. We believe every child can achieve academic success and we are committed to differentiate the curriculum to meet the special needs of our students. To this end every child is provided with quality instructional experiences, which recognizes, supports and maintains high expectations for all students. Ours is a school community that cares deeply about the education of our children and we are committed to maintaining and enhancing high academic performance.
With parents and teachers working as a team towards the same common goal, every child will succeed. At all times we keep in mind the thought of always doing what is best for our children. To this end providing a quality education in a safe and nurturing environment is our number one priority.
Parents and community members are encouraged to participate and become involved at our school site. We actively ask for support, ideas, and suggestions. Our incredible Parent-Faculty Association (PFA) organizes supporting activities for our school. This organization is quite successful at getting parents involved and helping our school in any way that it can. We value our parents and know that the more parents are involved in their child’s education, the better they tend to do in school.
One of the keys to the success of our school is open communication. My office and our staff remain accessible to parental and community needs. We believe that through teamwork, open communication and a commitment to continuous improvement, we will continue to make Red Oak shine.
