On Wednesday, February 1st, the Oak Park High School Shark Team will be hosting a free screening of SharkWater (PG; 89 minutes) to raise awareness of the threats that face sharks. As a nonprofit group, we hope to help educate the community about these majestic creatures and help clarify common misconceptions. Dinner will be provided to coincide with the screening, and members of the group will be available to answer questions. This movie showing was arranged as part of our outreach to the Oak Park community, as well as to obtain donations to transfer entirely to shark tagging and conservation programs.
