 Oak Park schools are beginning to experience a leveling of enrollment due to the fact the area is ‘built out.’ This has created a unique opportunity for a few students to attend our schools who do not live in Oak Park. We have been designated a ‘district of choice,’ which allows us to accept a limited number of students from out of the attendance area. Additionally, under new legislation, we are now able to accept students on inter-district permits and renew them annually until the student graduates from high school even if the student begins to attend our schools in Kindergarten. |

District of Choice Transfer Application for Fall 2012 (for the Fall 2012-13 school year) ATTENTION CURRENTLY ENROLLED FAMILIES: IT IS NOT NECESSARY TO DO AN AUTOMATIC RENEWAL FORM EACH YEAR (THE FORM IS OBSOLETE). Your students will be automatically renewed to attend Oak Park Schools through senior year. We ask that if you know that your student will NOT be returning in fall 2012, to please contact your school site and Linda Gam We invite you to find out more about our schools Please Note: Open Enrollment is November and December each year (every year). The DOC window for fall 2012 is open from 11/1/11 –12/31/11 for new families interested in joining us. Please be mindful of the 12/31 deadline. |
